Vladimir Gutmanovich

Vlad is the VP of Closing Operations at Stonehaven. His responsibilities start with speedy and smooth closings and fundings for our clients, and include all the behind the scenes work to ensure loans are routed and transferred to end investors, as needed, in a timely manner and completely seamless to the clients. Vlad has been in the mortgage industry since 2005. He started as a Loan Officer and quickly realized that sales is not his cup of tea; operations was calling his name from day one. Becoming a Licensed Loan Officer gave him a strong knowledge base in the industry so he restarted his mortgage career as a closer and was able to succeed quickly. Within 2 years he was promoted to a Closing Manager where he ran a closing department that consisted of 50+ employees and funded over 1000 units per month. His career path took him to several companies where he learned additional programs and guidelines which helped him be successful and well rounded in all the Closing Operations from closing to servicing to investor relations aspects of the business. Currently, Vlad resides in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife Anna, 2 kids - Leah who is 10 and Mason who is 3, and our pet fish Wolfie. He loves spending time together with his family. He enjoys throwing backyard BBQ get-togethers for friends and relatives. Vlad and his wife Anna are big foodies; in the 16 years they have been together, they've tried a variety of cuisines, but his favorites are Japanese and seafood in general. Vlad loves traveling to warm climates such as Florida, Mexico and Dominican Republic and is planning to visit Greece and Spain in the near future.
